Last night, I visited Piazzale Michelangelo.
My friends and I wanted to get there in time to watch the sunset, but (unreliable) Florence buses and (inaccurate) Apple Watch solar times made us a few minutes late. But despite not witnessing the exact moments in which the sun made its descent from the sky, the evening panoramic view of the city of Florence from this piazza was absolutely breathtaking and well worth the trek to get there.
And the steak I had for dinner was absolutely worth the trip too. What better way to treat yourself after midterms week than with some good views and a good meal?
